There’s a sense of impact and connection between us and the individual, even though there’s something always between us, a window, a chair or the palm of a hand. The colours are so slight and muted, yet they are probably one of the parts of these images that makes them work so well. As I’ve read previously about her work, her images are almost like a diary of her day to day life, taking images at any time… I love their gentle quality as well as their emotional impact, be that an interpretive emotion…
